Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Whew! Had a busy coupla days.
Sunday and friend and I went to BakerCreekSeed's Heirloom Garden show. Very interesting and I brought home wwaaay to much stuff. It was free to get in and really people were almost giving plants away. I am especially excited about the bay laurel I picked up. I never did get to officially meet Jere (BakerCreekSeed), but I think I know which guy he was. It was a 5 hour drive for us. So we didn't stay all day. I watched the seminar on melons. Neat.
Monday, as soon as I got off work at noon, I went to Independence Missouri for my Uncle's funeral. He was a wonderful Christian man. In the tribute his wife wrote she said he taught 5th Grade Sunday School class for 50 years. One of his students asked him recently if he thought God could be a woman. He said, of course not, The Bible say's our Father which art in Heaven!
Today, I came home and took a nap. Still just working half days at least until my Dr's appointment on Friday. Don't know if I'm happy or sad about it.
And Today It RAINED! Yippy Skippy!!!!! Rain. whooo hoooo..!
it cooled everything down, and I swear the grass greened up in a minute.
