Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Good Morning All,
Woke this morning to roosters crowing. I can see the back step from the bedroom and an old hen was waiting patiently for some treats to be thrown out the door.
I had promised myself that I wouldn't get distracted from my must do projects for this coming weekend but the "social" calendar is filling quick. A graduation, piano recital and you know the drill. I try to make these things so will work on my projects between these events.
The weather here has been a little warm, but very lovely. The crops are going in all around me. I watch with great interest the different machinery farmers have. One bit of bottom land going in is put in by a little farmer with older equipment -- on the other side of the road they are using huge plows and tractors -- big operators. The little farmer that leases our bottom land uses older equipment and does a really nice job. He always seems to be borrowing something from a friend. But he gets the job done.
Well, an early meeting for me at me job this morning. A huge waste of time if you ask me. I hate meetings. At least my job is a technical type so these things are at a minimum. anyway gotta sign off.
