Lucky you, to meet Calla. I am not laughing! I have had all the way to two peach blooms, worth the wait, but we'd better hurry on the others to bloom, have only about 2 months left of growing outside.

Cala is by far, one of the sweetest, kindest, most generous people I have ever met! Don't blush Cala. We all know you are. :) She even put me and my five children up for the night when other plans fell through. I got to see her again a week or so ago when she was on her road trip.
Hibiscus, there is another DG get together planned for September I think, in northern Ohio. I don't know if you read the round up forum?
Oh Eyes, they enjoy the plants so much. Just wish they enjoyed the weeding and feeding. LOL

Michele, I know you are thrilled to see your first bloom! I sure was when my first brug bloomed! You're right, Cala is such a sweet and wonderful person. I should know, after 2700 miles of traveling together! I am so lucky to be able to call this special person my friend.

congratulations badseed, the first loom is always the most memorable....the endless waiting, the anticipation, watching day by day, finally the opening, the frangrance at night - it is definately a special feeling...

I know if it hadn't started to open soon, I was gonna have to send you some blooms to glue on it!! Oops, can't get my head in the door again. (y'all are a mess)

LOL Cala! I can actually see me out there gluing blooms on it just so I could post it! LOL I am just happy my neighbors can't reach it with their 'Round up'! They are some kind of nuts! I will be posting the bloom whether anyone wants to see it or not. :) (get some butter for that head! you know we love you)
