how fast does this grow. I bought one that is about 21/2 ft. tall. But i need a tall plant up against my house. If u know of another plant please let me know . i haven'tplanted

This is basically a ground cover, I believe, although you should be able to train it to climb. I'd suggest a trellis against the wall.
