Missouri Marble reverted

Hamilton, Canada

I have one plant of the Missouri Marble that reverted to the solid green leaf. I'll have to wait to see what color flowers are produced on the plant. Lets hope that they all have a blue tint. My other plants have hundreds of small buds and I only hope that they will all bloom by the end of fall so I can save seeds. I plan on making a couple of crosses with the MM to my inoxia plant. My inoxia plant is beside a brug and got lots of fertilozer so its grown over 5 feet and is still growing and branching. I have at least 30 pods on it now and can hardly wait for more. The inoxia have 10 peaks on the flower and a wonderful citrus scent at night.

My inoxias are huge plants this year too! Must be the heat!!LOL My discolors are blooming great too..but the discolors and inoxias are next to each other so the seeds will be hybrids no doubt!

My marble almost looks the same as the regular white. Other than the leaves being verigated. Has yours bloomed yet???
I also haven't seen but one seed pod form and I carried it to the roundup for yardbird.

Georgiaredclay,

I had 2 blooms on one plant bloom and they were pure white. The remainder of the plant is huge and sprawling and has hundreds of tiny buds.
The second plant had one complete huge branch break off and is still recovering.
The third plant is doing poorly, not much growth at all. The forth plant is half variegated and half reverted to solid green leaves. The solid green leafed branches have taken over leaving the variegated branch growing very slow. The fifth plant is small and still making Ys with no buds showing yet.
The sixth plant has medium sized buds, but the tips of these buds look more bluish than on the other plant that flowered.
I love the variegated leaves, but I'm not impressed so far unless I get some blue flowers. I tried propagating cuttings but had no success. Perhaps it was just too hot at the time.
