c. Double White

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Even though it doesn't drop it's skirt it's still a beautiful flower and I will grow it again next year.

Snow, some of mine are dropping their skirts. Seems like if they are in a bit of shade in the afternoon, the skirts drop.

This looks just like mine - which dropped down after moving it. Is it in a pot?

So pretty........

okay, yesterday I saw a double white that was stuffed. None of the second part dropped down on any of the blooms. Is that the normal look for some doubles? I'm hoping NOT as I'd like one that drops down. Not crazy about stuffed. I opened my big mounth and told the grower stuffed wasn't the norm. Hope I was right. Will serve me right if I'm wrong. I'll have to eat crow.

I hate to be wrong, especially when I'm at someone else's nursery, lol.

Cala, This plant is by the arbor which gets full sun but I have another in the back garden by the Sangs that gets only morning sun and that one is not dropping it's skirts either.I sill like the shape of the flowers even if they stay stuffed. LOL

I have one that has a flush of stuffed, then a flush of mixed.........dropped skirts, shredded, and just different then stuffed again and then another flush of weird. I just love it!! it is constantly in bloom. It is my fav!
