Nectar thief

I was flipping through channels this afternoon and found the Animal Planet's funny videos show. One video showed a horse trying to get the nectar out of a hummingbird feeder. The feeder was in a window and when the horse was done he stood in front of the window and bared his teeth. It was so funny.

Elsie, that's so funny. We used to have squirrels that would turn the feeder up and drink from the ports!! They would get sticky syrup all down their fronts.

I've got my feeders hanging from the window so I have never seen any squirrels in them - that must be something to see. After seeing the hummers close up at my window and seeing their tiny little tongues ( at least I think they're tongues) in the holes - it was hilarious to see the horse's tongue in the feeder.

I bet that would be a sight to see. We have butterflies that sip the nectar too.
