shade cloth

I just put up my shade cloth today. Last year I bought a roll of landscape fabric and hung it on the wall of my greenhouse. It works great, easy to put up or take down and is very inexpensive. I use clothes pins wired to the hoops to hold it up and when I don't need it any more I can take it down easily. I unroll it as I need it and pin it up.

Dakotalily: Thanks, that is nice to know, as my shade cloth is really showing signs of deteriation. I am sure the landscape fabric is cheaper than shade cloth. will use landscape fabric when the shade cloth is shot.

I'm still new to greenhouses and still experimenting with mine - I use cheap dark green shower curtains for my shade cloth. I only cover the side of the greenhouse that gets S/SW sun, and it seems to be working well. HTH
