Lagerstroemia indica X fauriei 'Miami'. It can reach 15 feet, or more, as a multistemmed tree or 25 feet if trained to one trunk. The exfoliating bark is dark, chestnut-brown. Fall foliage color ranges from orange to dark-russet. Very, cold-hardy, if acclimated.
