I want to purchase some gladiolus bulbs next spring. I have looked at the Garden Watchdog under bulbs:ornamental, and then at EVERY company listed there that had a neutral to favorable rating. I didn't find a company for glads, or not one that looked likely, save one.
Does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks in advance!
Purchasing glad bulbs question
I have a wholesale company that I can get some things through called the Leo Berbee Bulb Company. The only difficulty is you have to buy 100 of one variety but I have been happy with their quality. If interested I could send you and address and maybe a phone number.
Lenjo, thanks anyway, but that's too many of one color. These are for a client, and I need about a dozen of about a dozen colors.
Lenjo, is it the one in Canada?

No, Kell, it isn't. These two companies are run by people who are related and they have a lot of the same things but I deal with one from Marysville, Ohio. They have a toll free number 1-800-642-2852 and they are wholesale only. Our farm is incorporated so they let me buy from them. You have to buy in larger quantities.
Me again, Kell, I forgot to ask you . Did you see the monopsis I posted in the photo forum? This was 3 plants that came in the 4 inch pots.
Hi Lenjo, no, but I will go look now!
Did you try www.deerproofperennials.com ?
woodspirit... I finally found a good grower, one who is actually nearby in Horseshoe, of all places! I visited their fields last Friday and will certainly put in a mega order for spring. I will probably offer glad bulbs on the co-op forum, as minimum order is 500 bulbs, 100 per color (same as Lenjo's grower). However, the price improves over 1,000 and I can probably use nearly 500 just for my client and myself. As a (new) landscaper, I now have a tax number, so I qualify to buy wholesale.
