Okay, this might not be a big deal for some of you, but it is for me! LOL A friend had an extra Orange Brug grown from a cutting. The one in the pot had gotten quite tall and lanky but had sprouted a baby. I decided to whack off the lanky one and keep the baby. Well, I cut the stem into four pieces, stuck them in a tray with some other cuttings and forgot about them. I kept the tray watered from a distance but forgot those were in there. Today I went to move the tray to a sunnier spot and found all four cuttings rooted. Accidents *can* be a good thing. LOL
Accidental rooting x4!! woo hoo
Oh Michele, there will be no stopping you now!!
Happy Accident - Good for you! It took me 3 years to learn how to root these beauties,LOL! Then I found Dave's!
LOL Michele. You know you should really keep better track of your brugs. You never know when they might be out playing in the streets of Cincinnati. LOL Lani
Congratulations - - success is so uplifting!!!

Way to go Michele. You will be tending a brug forest before long. Hope the girls are enjoying your gardens too. Would love to see a pix of the baby. Bet she has grown like a weed.

My rooting tray has sterile seed mix in the bottom half and white sand on the top half. I sprinkled it with rootone and watered it in then just stuck my cuttings in. I stuck the Brug babies in a month or so later. I was so thrilled and pleased to find them rooted. :) I am hoping my doctor's girlfriend will over winter my Brugs for me. I have not the space but I hear she has a *very* nice solarium.
