wow Azalea....very nice indeed!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Very very nice.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

So what would you call it??

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Azalea, that is lovely!! I only have one very large Brug and I am thrilled to death it has one bud. LOL Now if the darn thing would just open.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Azalea . . very pretty flower.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Azalea, if the leaves are sort of ruffly, I'd call it Isabella (honest:)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

need to know if this is one that came without the tag or if I wrote something on the tag.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

azalea, i would bet on isabella. such a deep rich color, gotta be!

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

I sort of thought so too - it just seems like a bigger bloom than the other Isabella that bloomed for me over a month ago. I love it by whatever name!!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

PJ, those I gave you out of the pots were all duplicates without tags. I kept all his unknown crosses.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

OK, that's good to know - the others don't even have buds yet! I just discovered 2 more buds on this one, that will make 8, a nice bouquet I think. This thing is huge with 4 big stalks.

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Is this your first thiw year of your first of all time?? It is a beauty for sure.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

No Jim - I had a yellow one for about 3 years - then this winter I aquired a bunch of others - this this is the first for this plant and for this season. I did have a small Isabella with one bloom in June, I had another that was loaded but all the buds got knocked off in a storm. So this is the only one I have with blooms right now, I think I have about 25 all together.

(Zone 8a)

Shucks! PJ! I wish today had been my day to come visit you and enjoy your new blooms with you! They are gorgeous!

Isn't it nice when company leaves? LOL

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Very pretty pink, PJ.

"eyes"

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

LOL - My MIL used to say, "company is like fish - after 3 days they start to smell". How True!

(Zone 8a)

Whew!!! LOL! I'm glad I only stayed a few hours!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Rebecca, I thought the same thing when I read that! glad we were only in FL for 2 days each time (that doesnt' count as three if we made two trips together, does it??)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

oh my goodness, PJ, did you hear that Carroll county put in a total water ban??????????? that's right next to me:(

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

TiG, do you have a stream or pond(not your water gardens though) that you can pump water from?

(Zone 8a)

Tig...nope, that many doesn't count I guess! Hope they don't ban ya'll!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

no Susie, I don't. I'm almost in a panic now.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Nice deep color on this one. I like it very much. I'd vote for Isabella too. Mine doesn't have much fragrance if that would help with the ID. Of course, everything probably depends on climate, etc. In any case, it is a definite keeper.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Oh Tig, this water thing is really getting bad - I just can't carry water up the hill from the creek. Let's do another rain dance!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Brugie, isabella has wonderful color, not much fragrance unless you stick your nose in it.
Georgia girls, i feel for you! hoping you get rain.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

great flower! I love the dark pinks.

Good luck on the water! we go thru that every 7 years or so. I dread the next time for they have added so many new communities all over we will never have enough water. Before they put in the rationing, can you fill a bunch of cheap huge garbage cans with tight lids with water and have them placed all over the yard? Then you alot each plant a bucket QOD just to keep alive not flourishing..............

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Lani

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

kell, I do have 2 large large trash cans (leftover from when we changed services and they'd rather not bother picking them up)
we have one that we filled a while back, I hate filling them, but mosquito dunks seem to be working so far. that's my fear, the mosquitos.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I wonder if saran would lay on top of the water? If the surface of the water is covered, even with those little water plants, the mosquitos can't lay their eggs. Hey get mosquito fish.............. then if any scooped out as you water your plants you have fish emulsion!!! i wonder if you add a pesticide to it........... I bet things will be posted online to teach us how to do it.
