Kathy Jo, your post made me so tired, I think I'll have to go back to bed! wish I could. It's silly to be so tired so early in the morning. But, I have to go get groceries early and my uncle and aunt from the great northwest are out here for a visit and would like to see my "new" house later this morning - that means some kitchen work before I go. Fortunately, the weather is still cool and clear. yesterday, I was like a whole new person - low temps, I don't think it made it to 70 all day, low humidity. I got the housework done early and did some seed saving and weeding. I still have a few plants to get in from all my nursery trips.
Stan got the big piece of hay baled. He expected 600-700 bales and got 956 or something close to that. There's one little piece that needs baled, but he's got the guy with the backhoe going up to his brother's this morning to do the water system for the pasture, so he has to be there. First, though, he has to get the neighbor's wagon unloaded. He hijacked it when he had all those extra bales, and they are combining their oats today so will need it for the straw.
Guess I'd better get on with it.
take good care,
kathleen
