could use some

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Butterfly or Pink Beauty pollen, or even L'amour, but I would imagine that's being used. My double white is still blooming, it's the best I've got going and would love to have something good to try and cross it with. lmk

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

ps. have lots of buds coming:)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Wish I could help, but with the heat, the pollen here isn't good or very little of it. Wonder why the pollen on white brugs is always so fluffy and good?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I think I have some more pollen, lol. I'll get it in the mail tomorrow if I don't forget. The L'Amour had some, Butterfly had more. I have EP but the pollen was skimpy on it. VO had plenty.
Barbara, you're right about the whites, they have lots of pollen.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Butterfly will be fine. VO might even be good too, I am marking them. thank you!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'm Shirley, not Barb. Let's see, it's only ll:20 down your way. Are you getting tired? :-)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Oh Brugie, I'm so sorry. I'll learn to pay attention one of these days.(yeah, it's late too. Worked hard in the Jungle house)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Wish I had a Jungle House. All I have is the Jungle part and it is out of control.

This is strange....the pollen on my Species and Candida Double white is always dry no matter when I check on it.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Glory, The pollen on my c. Dbl. White is always dry too. I've been unable to get any pollen from this one. Even tried cutting the flower open before it opened on it's own.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I have aboout 20 flowers on my double white weird one pollinated now(but who knows if podded). I have tags hanging all over the plant. My question is this.......... is there a scissors made that has a curve on the end and is long and thin to fit in the base of the brug flower to snip off the anthers without destroying the flower? If not I am sure I can find one in a surgical instrument catalogue but it will cost alot. Last night I was hurting my blooms. Also, is it OK to rip the bloom open that you are pollinating to find the stigma? Will it still take?
thanks so much!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kell, I used to have a pair of tweezers that had long handles that would have been perfect for plucking out those anthers, but I can't find them. Guess I'm going to have to do some housecleaning.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

and brugie, guess whose tags I am using all over............thanks again!!!

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

No pollen here either!! I know it must be the intense heat that we are all having.
