Brugie, I have a ripe pod if you want to try it:-)

Rethymno, Crete, Greece(Zone 10b)

I want to try it, Calalily! Search for 'dpmichael' to see if you like from the seeds I have.

And a question: is it H. rosa sinensis, moscheutos or syriacus ??

You would go and ask that wouldn't you!!! OK Eclipse, this is your question.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Sure Cala, I'd love to try it.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Brugie, will you start it now? or wait till spring?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Pebble, I'd wait until spring to start seeds here. I did that a few years ago, over 250 of them to give away on the garden tour, and most people said they bloomed the first year.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

oh really Brugie, thanks for that piece of advise....

I am hoping to get a couple of hibiscuses this year. That Kyle....you know, he just teased us with all those pictures........

Pebble.......you people made me do it!! LOL

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

dp michael..they are hibiscus moscheutos hybrids.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

my foot Kyle....lol.....you just wouldnt let it go would you, people begged you, knowing they had a weakness, yet you continued and continued, and the temptations just kept coming. And it just got to be too much, we decided we just couldnt live without one, we had to have one, even if it meant knocking some little old lady down and grabbing her prized hibiscus.....(well, I wouldnt go that far....)
But day after day, day after day those beautiful gems were being flashed across the screen, and a person can only take so much taunting..........
I admit, I decided I just couldnt go on without one.....
lol - lol
