Please send me your addresses ;) (GL and Dori already did)
Evert, do you have any left? I can trade you with some peoany poppies....If you are interested.
Pebble see the meconopsis thread in Photos..
I'll email you brug.
Count me in, Evert. I'll trade for some of my grandis seed when they are ready.
OK, let me know when the grandis is ready..
Pods are still green, and in our cool weather, it could be quite awhile, but I'm definitely saving some for you, Evert. A friend dropped by some Welsh poppy seed, if you are interested in those.
I have enough welsh poppy seeds, 3 kinds... :]
Evert,
If you should have any left keep me in mind. What are you looking for?
Well mostly some alpine plant seeds or nice perennials.
I hate my job! I missed this .Evert,do you have any?????
Evert,You are awesome! I got mine and can't wait to grow them!Thank you so much!
Evert: What type of alpines are you looking for? I'm never quite sure what are considered alpines. Living surrounded by mountains, I've always assumed they are plants that grow in the higher altitudes, but I guess that isn't the liberal definition. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll see what I can do from here for seed.
Good to hear CC :)
Weez, why don't ya go to the high mountain and get me what you find there, hahah ;) No, alpines, well... things like ranunculus, gentians, leontopodium, and other nice thingies. And of course all maroon coloured plants, I think they look great.
You'd like the primula polyantha I got from an elderly gardener in town. She's about 90 years old and still manages to keep a wonderful looking yard. She said the primula is called Pride of Juneau, or something like that. I'll have to ask her. Anyway, it is a deep red. Of course, the primula auricula are a deep, deep reddish maroon, as well.
evert I am very interested in your seed. see if I have anything you would like to swap with by looking on

Primulas are great plants and like our climates, yes :) Are they hard to grow from seeds?
Psilo, send me your address :}
I would like some of thesse seeds. :-)
Evert: I've started primula from seed for the last couple springs, and they are not that difficult. In fact, I have so many denticulatas that I'm not sure whether to winter them all over or not. The polyanthas, auriculas, florindaes and denticulatas germinated quite well, but the japonicas didn't. They require quite a series of stratifying, so I may have just lost track. It seems I sent you some florindae seed, didn't I? Give them a try. They're quite easy.
If anyone still wants the seeds, just email me. I still have got plenty of them.
Yes, you sent me florindae and some other primula seeds. :) Maybe I have to give the ma try. Do you want Rhodochiton seeds too? I got lots of them from my grandma today..
Yes, Evert. I'd like to try them again. I've had very uneven germination before, but I don't know how old the rhodochiton seed was.
