Liz,

You must have one beautiful view out your back door. Whatever it is, it is still very pretty

Again that great view out over the Pacific. *lol* I envy you that. In Danish the Pacific Ocean is Stillehavet (stille=silent, havet=ocean) or the Silent Ocean. Rapture resembles a Brug I once saw in a garden center. Its colors was similar to Ocre, but the calyxes was slender and very long as the flower was broad. It had long tendrils and must have been about 35-40 cm long. The leaves in the growth region was serrated and huge, but in the growth region there was a few serrated and many sub-equal with very unequal bases. Even it the trunk was about 2.00 meters high it had only started to form semi wood near the rootzone. The rest was green.

Could it be the same plant?

Liz, last fall there was discussion, and i think someone posted a pic of "rapture" that looked exactly like one of earl's pics of Dr Suess. i am just thankful i don't have it, as if it is close enough that you are wondering, it's close enough that the 6 i have don't need any more kin.

Liz, is your flower that small?
