I don't think so. But this Brug has a label that simply says "Isabella". Calalily gave it to me.
The plant is only about 18" tall and the blooms almost touch the ground! The blooms are fairly small (compared with my Frosty Pink). The yellow is very light, with a touch of actual white in the bloom. Who knows what the actual name of this is?
Thanks,
Dave
Yellow Isabella?
I do, but I'm not telling!!!
LOL!!! just kidding:)
Oh well, another mislabeled one!! Ah Dave, I'm not sure, lol.
i kinda like that name, yellow isabella. maybe you should just call it Frosty Yellow, haven't debated that one yet. btw, i am glad i'm not the only one who has mixed up labels. so easy to do. worst thing is getting them labeled wrong, end up with tons of the same thing.
nice one, Dave. by any other name.....
Could that possibly be a Jessie Noel?
Owen, I'll search for images of that and see how well it matches.
It's not Jessie....Jessie doesn't have the scallops along the edges, is darker and has super long whiskers....Looks like a Jamaica Yellow to me with the scallops.
Cala, I have an Isabella X Butterfly that ended up yellow. Grew it from Eric's seed. Wonder what happened to it? It doesn't want to open all the way. This one is going to be composted this fall. Nothing against Eric's cross, but I don't think he would keep it either.
I'm going to compost any that stay white because I don't have the room. I have many others that would love to be in the ground, so unless there is something every special about a white, it isn't staying.
Tig, don't compost them. Send them to MS.
too bad you cannot plant them on the road sides instead of brug murder..........to beautify your state................
Billy, if I get some I'm going to compost, I'll let you know with pictures:)
tiG,
Don't compost all the whites.
Yes, please save the special ones.
I really like 'whites' (o:
Alice
oh the special ones for sure! like EK2 (posted picture), it's so long I couldn't not use it for crossing. and just for looks, I love it. If anyone wants a cutting of it, will have them this fall.
