Need answer to puzzling ????

Last summer I gave my mom a cutting off of one of my peach brugs. It was a 2 year old plant I took the cutting from. She didn't want to mess with a whole plant over the winter, so she took a cutting off of that plant, rooted it, and kept that over. She told me it had a few blooms on it this summer, and when I was at her place a couple of weeks ago, I asked to see how her "kid" was coming along.............Well, Surprise, Surprise, Surprise.........Momma's brug cutting looks like a datura, complete with the pointy datura leaves (yes, I know what they look like, I have one of those also) and the smaller buds that point upward. She says that the flowers kinda hung down after they opened and that they were peach colored, but judging from those buds that I saw........well, I don't know. Do those bruggies revert to the "Wild Child" daturas after so many cuttings removed from the original plant???? I know what I saw in her pot on the patio, and I would bet that it's NOT a brug!!

Not a chance of reverting Anna.It can't revert to what it never was. Some brugs have buds that point upward then the flowers hang.Odd leaves could be stress or disease.
