Bud coming out of the calyx

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

On Kurpark Bad Salzschlirf (Grazie) - just rolls off my tongue now. This appears to be a breach birth. The anthers are coming first.

That is strange. Looks like mother nature decided not to fold the corolla right. Should have titled the thread "Breach Birth" and I'll bet it would have made the newsletter real quick. Funny way to think about it. :-)

Formerly Amarillo Pajo???

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I wished, I could hear you saying it LOL!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

That is one messed up kid! Blooms are beautiful on rest of plant.

I'll be sounding like you soon Monika - if you continue renaming my brugs. LOL
Yes, brugcrazy - nee Amarillo Paja. See? I am multi-lingual.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Well, I think it is just a promiscuous girl bud!!!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Just a few hours later the rest of the bloom covered the whole thing over - embarassed maybe. Nature is great.

Her mother got to her!!!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

that is super weird, wish the anthers on my double white had been that easy to find!

So the Amarillo Pajo is no longer it's name?

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Apparently mine isn't anway - it originated from LBJ as Amarillo Paja. Monika re-identified it as KBS.

Liz, your leaves are so green and no holes! Do you have no bugs in the salt air???

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I sure do have bugs. Funny, when I look at the plants I see holes. I used to go ballistic when I saw chewed leaves. Now I'm used to it.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

It looks like the weird blooms on jamaican yellow that i had last year.
please post a pic of it to see if it has the semi-shredded look
