Lilith, it is a little hard to see what exactly the bloom looks, it looks red? Is it single or double and is it really a bright red? I have an opium poppy here too and it is an orange single blossom with purple looking down into the flower, it has cut edges on the bloom. These guys volunteer all over the flower beds. Are you interested in trading some seed? Also do you gather seed from you bright pink mallow that is posted? I would love to have that too.Can I trade you for something or send a SASE. Joann

The bloom is bright red with white in a 'cross' i think they may be danish flag or something. they're single, but have fringed petals. also they may have crossed with the other somniferums i have and also grow wild. we could trade poppies if you like, but would i be able to send those to the states from the uk? if so i would love to trade. i could always label them as beads or something, what do you think?

I talked to a few people, Lilith, I think since these are opium poppy we probably should play it safe and not trade. I am such a pansy.I don't know what the regulations are regarding this kind of thing. Joann
