I have a part of my yard that is almost totally shaded and is full of English Ivy and some brambles, etc. It has been neglected for a long time, just left to accumulate ivy, in fact most of my back yard is ivy and pachysandra and violets that we keep cutting as if it were grass, LOL... we have LOTS of mushrooms and other fungi because of the neighbor's HUGE pine trees...
Just seeing your pictures gives me inspiration for creating a shaded retreat back there... and I have some great ideas for doing just that.
Now, how do I keep myself from getting poison ivy while I am tearing out the ivy back there??? There is bound to be quite a bit of it, it's quite wild. Will post a picture soon as I can get back there to take one.
Thanks everyone!
Janie
