"eyes"
Hi Glory and Hi "Eyes"
I "hope" itīs a crossing aurea X arborea, I know itīs impossible for now...I must wait for more flowers to identificate and pollinate.
To be honest, smile, Iīm shure thatīs. But I need help to identify.
Greetings Ludger
Hi Ludger . . glad to have you here at Dave's. There are some very knowledgable people here and it will be nice to have you share your knowledge with us. How long have you been growing and hybridizing brugs?
Frannie
Hi Frannie,
Iīm growing brugs since I was 16, hybridizizing I startet much years later.
Greetings Ludger
Ludger, welcome to Dave's Garden and to the Brug forum. We have some expert Brug growers here and having one more will be wonderful. We learn so much every day here. And we love to see new crosses. That middle flower is very different looking.
Welcome Ludger - I think you have one of my sanguineas. LOL
From Tonny.
Ludger, welcome. 500 brugs! do you still have to use tags or do you know them all? (i know, some seedlings). bet you have some beauties we haven't seen, looking forward to seeing them.
Ludger,
Greetings from Ontario, Canada. Its wonderful to have you here and to meet you informally through this forum. 500 brugs, oh my gosh it must take you ages to water and fertilize all of these plants.
I hope you love to take and post pictures here as I know that people will want to see pictures of your various plants.
Looking forward to chatting with you here.
Welcome Ludger warm greetings from Michigan - Land of the Lakes.
welcome welcome, it's so good to have another brughead in the group! hope you'll find our little group friendly. we have been known to hijack a thread and take it in a totally different direction, so if it happens to you, don't take it personal. and feel free to do the same:)
I love the hybrid, it's really nice.
Hi Ludger,
My name is Shirley or you can call me Brugie. I'll answer to almost anything. I've been growing brugs for only four years and only have about 45 different ones. I'm too old to be caring for 500 of them, so I make myself happy with what I have. I'm so glad you have joined us here at Daves. Sometimes we are serious in our posting, but sometimes we get a little off the wall, so be patient with us. I guess there is nothing wrong with having a little fun while enjoying our brugs. Again, welcome. Hope you will jump right in and join our conversations.
Welcome Ludger, greetings from Mississippi. It seems the Europeans have appreciated brugs a lot longer than we Americans. Some extrodinairy hybrids are coming from your country. Have enjoyed your postings on the other forum.Good to see you here.
Barbara
Welcome do the best gardening site in the universe Ludger!
You have found an amazing site.
I am impressed that you have 500 brugs, most of the people on the brug forum have quite a few (sometimes I think they have thousands and thousands...they keep posting pictures of their lovely blooms) I have at most 10, and that is stretching it. I dont have a greenhouse, so wintering them over is always a challenge. I left some in the ground and they have actually come back, but taking too long to grow tall and y.
Do you have a greenhouse (or need I ask??) lol
I look forward to seeing you and photos of your brugs.
cheers
Ludger, welcome to davesgarden!
I am happy to see you here - you will like and enjoy it as I do. Greetings, Monika
Herzlich Willkommen, Ludger, bei davesgarden. Ich freue mich, Dich hier zu sehen. Es wird Dir genauso gut gefallen wie mir. Viele Grüße, Monika
Moin moin Ludger,
you're going to love this place, so many knowledgable, nice, and nutty people have never been brought together on one site...... ANYWHERE.
500 Brugs eh!!!!.... I've got 1 ;-)
All the best
Wintermoor
Hello Ludger!
Welcome to DG and the Brug forum. I just know you will enjoy to be here and congrats with your cross. LOL I hope it is, what you think it is and I guess it is. The middle flower has a bit of the glossy look of the aurea on the left and also the curled limb. Of course it would help a lot with a side view of the three or maybe just the flower in the middle, but it appear to have aurea in it. Is the first flower or the next? I hope its a strong grower and that it would take pollen to develop fruits. If it will you have made a part of the bridge between the two imcompatible Brug groups and then anything can happen from there. LOL Thts great news, Ludger. :-)
Tonny in Denmark
Greeting from California to you Ludger! How great that you have joined Dave's. We will all love you to share your knowledge and expertise. Please post lots of pictures. We will love seeing all your European brugs!

To All of You
very much THANKS for this marvellous and really nice hello you have given to me!!!
I will try to replay:
Iīve two greenhouses and some bright rooms inside ( for winter and early spring)only used for my brugs and some other plants ( Musa, citrus and some palms ).
We have much rain in Germany there are only some days or weeks in summer I have to water. To be honest: When I must water them all, I become crazy.....lol.
I like to "share" most of my freetime with my brugs, but Iīm not a lone wolf, lol, I very like to meet other humans.
Itīs nice to meet here some friends from other groups and someone from Hamburg, lol. Wo bist Du da? Kennst Du Zironen Voss?
Yes, I have a canadian sanguinea from Tonny, I visited him some weeks ago.
I hope I will behave (by myself) in this group, if Iīll make a mistake, please tell me.
Where can I set pictures here? I have some Iīd like to share with you.
Greetings Ludger
Ludger, you can post a picture at the beginning of any thread. That's the only picture you can put in that thread.
Hi Ludger & Welocme to DG! We'd love to see your pictures. Yes - when you start a new thread under the text box is a spot to load your picture file. It's very simple.
Hi tig,thankīs
I thought you have a gallery or something like, where I can set more pictures
GL
Ludger,
Ich wohne in Eimsbüttel, unweit v.d.Innenstadt, ich bin aber Schotte.
Was ist Zironen Voss? Kenne ich nicht.
Du kannst Deine Bilder in Dein eigene Journal ablegen.
Alles Gute
Wintermoor
Welcome to Daves Ludger Good to have you here
Thanks Wintermoor
Iīll try.
Citrus Voss is a citrusgrower in York,
he is growing coldhardy citrusplants.
Hope you are fine because of much rain in HH today
GL
If you look under General Discussion, you'll see what happened to my wee place today.
It's under Garden Destroyed, so you can imagine what happened.
Have the fruit growers over in Jork not lost their harvests this year?
All the best
Wintermoor
Gee Wintermoor, my German is rusty.........here we all are nosey....... we love to read messages even if not directed at us....LOL!!
Gee Wintermoor, mein Deutscher ist......... hier wir rostig, die alle....... wir lieben, Anzeigen zu lesen nosy sind, selbst wenn nicht an uns....LOL verwiesen!!
Sorry, It will take some days to find all things in DG...
Iīll look for general discussions.
Citrus Voss is not a fruitgrower, he grows citrus like we do with brugs.
Kell, I like your german, please be patient with me...I have to learn much more English lol.
LOL Ludger........... I translated on google!! I am a fraud. It probably made no sense!!!
But here is the link
http://davesgarden.com/showthread/312642.html
on poor Wintermoor. His garden is gone. Too sad.
Ludger, go to member page on the right. then click on preferences and you'll see a huge list of forums available. I do believe the General Disc. is one that doesn't show up unless you check the box and save the changes on that page. and the journal is not so hard once you get the hang of it.
thanks, I found it, itīs terrible
Ludger,
Can hardly wait to see pictures of your brugs. Post them individually so we can ohhhhh and ahhhhhhh!!...lol.. Besides, some of your brugs we have probably never seen before so it will be like an introduction where we can discuss them in detail.
I canīt open a new thread only to send one pic.....members here will cill me.......lol,lol
GL
you better do it or we will kill you!!!! :)
lol
pebble, tell him I mean it:)
Ok,Iīll open a new thread tonight...smile
I think it would be better to learn to open my journal..for my health...lol. I will survive, help, lol.
Just give some days,please.
GL
