Hibiscus "Sunshower"

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Brugie gave me this plant in the spring...grows kinda outward..but the flowers make up for it!They change colors depending on temps and day length.Solid colored in winter I guess.Like most hybrid hibiscus.

Boy, they do change a lot, don't they. It didn't look like this last year. I like the yellow around the edge. Now I'm wondering something. When I split this plant up, there were five in one pot. Any chance the grower had more than one kind in the pot?

Brugie, Obviously.....wonder what the others were?? LOL

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

different coloration, odd that it changes color with the temps and length of day.
I have one question for you Kyle. You have been showering us all the wonderful tropical hibiscus, are the hardy ones just as spectacular or not?

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

pebble..the hardy forms are larger flowered..some can be 12 inches across..but only in pink, red, white, and two toned of these colors with red eyes. They only bloom a few weeks then done...thats why I like the tropicals better..they bloom all year and come in thousands of color forms and combinations.
