Thanks to all of you..I missed this thread at the time of my birthday..
sorry...I don't get to the brugs forum much..
It was sweet of you to wish me well. I have one brug..I bought it this spring and it is growing ..but no buds yet..
It is about 20 inches tall now. Could you tell me if I should be taking the bottom leaves off the stem? Please.
Cheers,
Carol

Hi Stazz,

I gathered that you missed this thread. I hope you had a wonderful day. Feed your brug lots of fertilizer. When the bottom leaves turn yellow its okay to remove them.

Thanks Joydie..
I noticed that you are a big Brug fan..and an expert at it too.

Starz,
I'm far from an expert, but I'm learning fast. I just started applying practises like transplanting using bonemeal, misting leaves with diluted fertilizer, etc from my knowledge of gardening. I've been using 10-60-10 fertilizer by Miracle Grow to put my seedlings to bloom this year. Its working great too. I have a white suaveolens with 2 flower buds on it and it comes from a seed sprouted in February or March.

I have some cuttings rooting for you and they should be ready for you soon. I know its going to be a late birthday present, I still have your address.

Thank you,Roz, Glory, Tonny, and Eclipse, Your best wishes are appreciated..

Joydie..Wow!..cuttings..that would be lovely..thank you....I guess I better get cracking with some fertilizer...I did give it an all purpose fertilizer a couple of times..but I will switch to the "Blooms" kind.
My son-in-law just bought the same brug I did at the same garden centre...and he is going to have a go at growing one. He has a green thumb..my daughter hasn't caught the gardening bug yet..she is too busy with her little girls and working.
Cheers,
Carol
