Boiled in the calyx??
I must have missed this post of Monika's, but I had some buds that cooked in our heat this year. The calyx turned greenish brown and it curled a bit. The flower did drop down, but they looked bad. Kind of had brown rims. The flowers just don't look right without that nice green calyx.
