Which plants are best for attracting butterflies? I probably only have room for one.

I like butterfly bush, and so do the butterflies...and the hummingbirds too....
If you want one for postage, let me know. I have plenty
Is that buddleia (sp?) - I think they do well here.

Red Porterweed, Stachytarpheta jamaicensis, is one my favorites. PDB link http://plantsdatabase.com/go/2392/ Also Lantana, Penta, Milkweed (Asclepias) and Passion vines. These plants bring in Monarchs, several Swallowtails and Zebra Longwings in abundance as well as many types of skippers, hairstreaks and small butterflies.
