I have very few pink blooms on over 50 plants, mostly just healthy looking brown blooms. What's up?

I've had 2 plants for about 3 years now-each year they seem to bloom better-the first year I only got a few blooms and they seemed to die out pretty quickly. The second year they didn't seem to do too much either-but this year they did their best yet-got a lot of nice pink blooms-don't know if it just takes time for them to get established or they liked the weather conditions better this year (we had tons of rain in early spring) This is a new plant for me too but I was intrigued because it was something different-so I had to have it!!

I have this lavender for about a year. It bloomed beautifully the whole summer. Unfortunately, it seems dying after the blooming. What can I do? Please help... Thanks.
