New plant I bought. Says it grows to a max. of 2metres.

Common name: Purple Allamanda
Family: Asclepiadaceae
Genus: Cryptostegia
Species grandiflora

This flower isn't a cryptostegia grandiflora, but an ALLAMANDA VIOLACEA , Family: apocinaceae, genus: allamanda, species: violacea.

I remember to have posted it as A.violacea but wonder how it has been listed as that.
May be that its common name 'purple allamanda' has got mixed up?
