and it is not an EP! Though I am happy to say it looks a little different than all my other pink Insignis that I have all over the yard in my quest for a dark pink in a land that has no dark pinks!!!! And would you believe it, I bought another pink generic yesterday? It was 4 feet tall, multibranched and full of buds in a 2 gallon pot for $15. Another pink no name! But I said to myself, this is cheaper than cut flowers with so many buds.......... and it is so big but in such a little pot I can slip it anywhere in my courtyard for a flush of blooms.......... of course I never think of what I am going to do with it later.........
Ok, so I did not die (I lied)
Oooh, pretty, whatever it is. There you go for a nice pink bloom.
I thought I would die last week when I realized the plant was not an Ep but now I am fine with it. Just was not meant to be this year. Also today, Brugie's problems and then reading Monika's post put it all in even better perspective. I am happy with what I have, and so very grateful!
Kell,
No matter what it's still a pretty flower!!!
Kell, if my EP makes it, I'll get you a cutting this fall. Can't have you thinking you are going to die without one. I thought I had some different plants too until they bloomed and I find they are all Dr.Suess. I think I have five of them now and thought I only had one. Dr. Suess anyone?????? I know where I can get rid of one whole plant, and I better do that before something else gets it.
Ms Brugie, last summer and fall a lot of us were sending out dr suess as jutner orange and charles grimaldi. i had a ton too. think i still have 5 or 6.
Arlene, the one I received as JO ended up FP. My Jessie Noel and Jam. Yellow appear to be Dr. Suess and I have two cuttings from last year that I, myself, labeled Jean Pasco, plus the one I bought from Earl last year. So, I have lots of yellow bloom around here. Everything in pots is looking okay today.
I'm glad they are looking okay, Ms Brugie.
