crosses running through my mind

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

well, things are getting started so late here, I just realized that almost all of the crosses I try will have to be rooted on the branches inside! BUT.... I'm still going to play.
now, what to cross to what? I had ideas in my mind over the winter, but now I want a particular flower. I want Ecuador Pink or Kyle's Pink (same shape) in peach. I choose to work with Kyle's Pink because it's getting ready to bloom. Now, what do I cross it with? The shape comes from the bearer, not donor, correct?
My peach choices are Dr D, Amber Rose, versi peach, spring peach. Try them all? is there an advantage of one over the other? I do have an anther of aurea orange left, would that be a good choice or should I use it on something else? Or should I use a yellow?
oh no...starting to ramble!! LOL!!

and...what are my chances of digging up a tree with a really good cross if it has pods and the pods staying on?? I have really good lights.

I'm still playing too tiG. Have a Butterfly almost opened that I really want to use and my EP just recently bloomed so I used that pollen. My mature pods are thanks to Eric sending me that EP pollen when I started getting blooms in the GH this past spring. His pollen was potent as the SG and Isabella flowers I pollinated produced pods. Thanks Eric.
I'm hoping too that I can cut branches with pods and bring them in to mature. Just can't lug in 6ft high trees.

Snow,
What's the latest you can leave your Brugs out before it starts getting to cold.

Glory, This year the weather has been so crazy with temps going up and down I don't dare to even guess. Usually in Sept. it starts cooling down.

Snow, just be sure to save some pollen in your freezer for your own use for the next season. Glad to hear the pollen I sent you from my freezer worked so well. I can't remember how long that batch had been frozen, but I know it had been a while. Still made the trip via the mail though to produce some good crosses for you. Can't wait to see the results.

Eric, I'm already storing it just like a chipmunk for the winter. LOL

i have a for sure pod on pink beauty, maybe a couple more, and a couple on Ora Belle, i think the pink beauty pollen i put on DrS X BF took, and have a seed pod on what might be twisted sister or something very similar. few pods on drs. the only one i know the daddy who the daddy is would be PB X (DrS X BF) if it really took. it still freaks me out that white pearl X big, seed popped up on 3/17 and blooms opened the middle of july. four months flat!

Arlene, That's great. It sounds like you've got some really good crosses going.
