dees visit!

We had such a great time! It was so great to meet some one from Dave's and I'm dying for Calla's visit now!!!
Tig thanks so much for the Alba,but dee said the nana didn't look so good so she didn't bring it with her.She brought me some plants that I've been dying for and it was a great day.We also went to a local greenhouse and found a variegated hibiscus that is totally different from the one I have.It was called Red Hot.I'm sure she'll post a picture this week.The leaves were green and dark red.No,we didn't find any brugs ,they don't sell them around here,but she did go home with a full packed box of plants from me!!!(not all brugs)

CC, you must freak people out in your truck! you are a wisp. i think Dee is about my height, aren't you Dee?

arlene, Dee is tall. good to see you again girl! Karyn, you look just like I pictured you. I hate that about the banana, but promise to send you pup this fall. Look at those poppies, oh my!!! I'm so glad you had a good visit, Dee is a doll, I sure wish I could have come with Cala to meet you too!

i guess i have a short memory, Dee was here the first of May. Lots of traveling women on this forum. lots of fun meeting people.

Are you pulling my leg or is that true about the 4x4's.

Just kiddin about the 4x4's ....Most of our tractor seats are pretty ajustable,most of the time I don't have too much trouble reaching the pedals.

And yes,it does flip people out when they see me,I can see them mouthing the words,"Holy sh*t,its a girl" And when I stop at a rest area ,alot of people stare......

The guys at work think its funny too,cause I look so small next to the tractor.


I think the picture is exagerated 'cause Dee is tall.I am a full 5'2,and I think I'm tall for my height...LOL!

NIce to see you CC. Did Dee enjoy seeing all your chickens? When I was at the Dane County Fair earlier this month, I saw some crested chickens and thought of you and yours. They're awfully pretty!
