Hello girls,
Well cucumbers and green beans are coming in the garden. I made pickles and canned beans, I always kind of hate heating up the house with the pressure cooker and beans. But that is the price to pay for canning beans.
Hubby went out early to pick berries but a hydraulic hose split and so no picking today. He repaired it and is all set for tomorrow again. This puts us a little behind but hopefully tomorrow he can catch up some. I don't usually help on the picker as there is no way I could get all things done. I have picked and frozen quite a few. Maybe a batch of jam and that will be all I'll do with the berries. We pull them out of the freezer all through the winter for pie and cobbler. I wish I could share some with all of you as they do make wonderful pie.
Mary E. how do you manage riding Breezy out in all that heat?
Just me Lisa, I have certainly enjoyed the turtles. What a great thing for kids to watch and experience.
