Regarding my snake eggs-please take the time to read

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

I got a letter in from a non paying member of DG that didn't understand why I had snake eggs, they couldn't see the rest of the thread on why I had them. I just feel the need to explain to others that might wonder the same. The eggs were found in my backyard. They were found where my 4 year old plays at, where I water my plants and where my pets are. I was concerned that they might be poisionous, so I removed the eggs from the clutch and put them in safe keeping(the glass jar). I didn't want to kill the eggs in case they were not posionous snakes. We have lots of mice and rats here and we have benefical snakes that eat them. I would hate to distroy anything if it were not needed, even if it is a snake. That might be hard for folks to understand, but I have a love for nature and I believe in preserving it the best I can. I am sorry if I've upset anyone. Hatching snake eggs are not my thing, but preserving nature is. I am not upset and I hope this thread doesn't come across that way. If I've upset anyone, please accept my humblest apologies--Lisa

I'd like to also say the letter I recieved was not ugly in any way, so this posting was not meant to be mean spirited, just wanted others to understand :-)
