Arlene, Big

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Big opens up white and turns into creme with a touch of apricot. If the flower lasts long enough, it will turn into apricot.

Hi Monika, Of course, I'm not Arlene, but just had to jump in and say that I like both of the pictures you have posted and also that my White Pearl X Big has finally made a Y and has a tiny bud forming. I'm excited and I thank you very much for the cross. Now I just have to cross my fingers and wait.

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Monika,
What a wonderful color and shape!! May I ask, do you know the parents?

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Thanks, Monika, what a good pic. i knew i liked Big from the pics i saw before.

FSH, TX

Big looks to have some versicolor and aurea in her. Very beautiful in deed. Love that shape and color. Here's hoping we can use her genes.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

It is certainly is beautiful Monika! What pray tell are those lusciously dark watermelon pink blooms in the background? An EP?

Absolutely stunning, as usual. I'm still waiting for mine to Y. Hopefully it won't be too long as we're getting some really nice hot weather. The brugs are loving it.

FSH, TX

This is still one of my favorites. Just had to bring this one back up.

Eric, I have buds coming on all of the White Pearl ( Monika's creations, d. white) x Big that I started in December. Hoping to get at least one coloured double.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I too would like to know what the bright pink in the background is.

FSH, TX

You don't suppose the flower in the background is a mature Big? Brugcrazy, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. I have to admit though that a white with the shape of big would still my heart. Big on the other hand is in color and hence even more special to me personally. Pinks to peaches are my favorites.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I have a Y on white pearl X big. I'll post in a little while.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

OK,I'm dying here too,

What is that in the back ground?????????

Monika, don't keep us in suspense....At least we know the one in the background can't be one of her failures,if it is I will personally go raid her compost pile.....

I'm guessing that it might be "Pink Lady". Been drooling over the pictures in Monika's book again. Sigh.....

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Beautiful bloom but I'm curious too. What is that gorgeous flower in the background?????

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

MaVie - I'm in the same time zone too - but I guess I'm a farmer - early to bed, early to rise, although it hasn't made me more healthy, wealthy or wise.
Maybe I'll start staying up with the night owls.

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Hey Jeanne
what are you saying here?? "Kell, you've got mail BUT she hasn't answered it yet." ??? Are you implying the elevator does not go up to the top floors? or the lights are on but nobody is home? the cage door is closed but the bird is gone? LOL the truth is out!

Thought you didn't want a visit from me. LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)
