Horseshoe is too kind and generous. I simply plod along and make small incursions each year. I simply derive great pleasure and relaxation from gardening. I actually have 2 different kinds of cacti, but I do have many. They are easy, need little water and bloom lovely yellow flowers each year like clockwork. I also like succulents, berries, plums, apple, salvia, well, come to think of it I like it all. It's all good! My thanks to Melody, Ruby42 and Eyesof texas for you kindness and hospitality, and many thanks to Donna for making it all happen at our HUG meeting on Sunday.

Yeah, Vic, like kudzu!

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

kudzu! Ahh yess, the wunnerful qualities of kudzu! Stays green and continues growth during hard times! A high quality forage (horses love it!) Offers lots of nutrition as well as beautifies the areas it's grow in! Often considered by some as being "invasive" but is really just being "comfortable in its surroundings"! Always faithful, always present, always "out standing in its field" (and elsewhere).
When I grow up, I wanna be like NC kudzu! Eh, Vic?
