Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Still not as full as I would like it but I took a lot of the leaves off a couple of weeks ago and it looks much more open now.

Looking good Snow. Too bad they are so short... :-) What are you feeding those things. They are really tall. By the way, my Milk N Honey has made a Y, so I'll see blooms this summer. Tickles me pink.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Shirley, Your Shredded White has formed a Y and has a little bud on it. I can't believe it's going to flower being so small. I'm tickled too. :)

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Snow . . your brug alley is really looking nice and I can see the brugs are growing and they will be even taller before you know it.

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

Snow... ur plants are very healthy looking. what is the secret? this newbie need to learn :)!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

It should tickle you cream, Brugie!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I can't beleive how they have all grown. Your alley looks too pretty to be called an alley, how about a garden retreat! I can see sitting there in the middle enjoying the beauty and solitude of it.

Snow, your brug alley is looking fabulous. You must be so pleased.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Snow, your Brug alley is divine darling......

FSH, TX

Very nice arrangement Snow.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I can only hope for that look. as soon as mine in the alley :) start blooming, I'm going to post pictures.

Looking great Snow.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

oh kell, I forgot to say this. Monika calls hers an alley and we're all dying to have something even similar. So alley in this case isn't the same as we might say 'back alley'

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Kell, go back and look at Monika's alley, she has brugs we can only dream of. Snow, your alley is looking good. I'm still trying to make sense of mine. will be interesting to see what kind of brugs we have in ten years....

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Thanks everyone. Now if I can just train them to all bloom at the same time. LOL
MVR, no secrets here. The dirt in this garden isn't that good so I fertilize with Miracle Grow or Peter's and I have to admit I've been getting behind on the fertilizing.I really could use a truck full of manure.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Don't they raise a lot of horses in Tennessee? Maybe Cala could bring you a load on her way up to visit. :-) I'd sure like to get some too. May have to talk to a neighbor with horses. Daughter has them, but 2-1/2 hours away is too far to go after dry poo........

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

LOL Shirley. Now would'nt that be a site with a load of manure on top of Cala's car heading down the highway.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Really nice, I can't wait to see them in person!!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Snow, your alley looks wonderful. Mine isnt close to satisfactory; it has been to hot with too much wind. They quit growing for weeks. Since it became cooler, I can watch them daily recovering, but its too late already. September has proven in the last years to be cold, windy with heavy rain.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

oh no monika!!! I hope that it will still come around for you. are you okay? haven't been posting much.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Monika . . I hate to hear that about your brug alley. You really do have such a short growing season to get them blooming. I am hoping Sept. is warmer than usual for you so that you can see the rewards of your labor of love.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Monika, I'm so sorry your weather has been so bad. I will keep my fingers crossed that August and September will bring some great weather to you. Don't give up hope.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Monika, it is so good to hear from you again. Sorry you are having such nasty weather, but I think it must be a world wide thing this year. Spring was horrible for all parts of the US. We were warm this winter, cold in the spring, and finally, when summer came, it came really hot. Saturday it was 99 at 4:15 in the afternoon. The humidity is high and that is good for the brugs and keeping the spider mites away. Hope you get some good weather soon and like Snow said, hope August and September will be good to you and your brugs. Sending wishes that you are feeling better each day.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Monika, sorry to hear you've had a bad season. hoping september will surprise you!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

So good to see you posting Monika. My yellow Clivia is blooming again, after I tore it all up dividing. Have thought about you and yours'. Hope you are ok.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Snow that is beautiful, looks like such a nice place to relax. Wait until they all start blooming, soon, I hope.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Great job Snow. It looks great!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I think Monika is the ultimate brug perfectionist - she's light years ahead of me. I think what she calls a bad brug alley year is what I can only hope for in my dreams.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I agree Liz................
