Is there a difference between Sweet Peach and Spring Peach....I'm so confused...again.
this is a first bloom on another seedling. are you going to name it sweet peach arlene?
tig, i keep wanting to call spring peach sweet peach, you heard me do this, right? Glory, this is the first bloom on one of eric's seedlings. i was just describing the color as a sweet peach. i think i actually took the pic from the back side, the flower tilts a little the other way. i must say i am happy with it so far, especially if it'll throw out tons of blooms til frost. this is much much smaller than spring peach.
arlene, I like this color better than any I've seen. whatcha gonna cross it with?? wish Amber Rose was big enough. maybe Kyles Pink and get that peachy rose in that shape??

yes spring peach is DS X EP, this is DS X BF. tig, i put some pink beauty on it last night. will do some more when they bloom. does anyone know pink beauty's parents?

That is a very nice shape and soft color as well. One thing I should note though....I have had hybrids that bloomed white the first time appear in color on the second bloom. I have also had hybrids that appeared dark appear lighter on a 3rd or 4th bloom cycle. I think some of it has to do with the time of year though frankly. Personally, I love the mixed hybrids that are crossed pink to Amber and pink to pink, but I'm not generally too fond of the yellow to yellow crosses. Jessie Noel of course is one of my favorites. Sweet Peach is a wonderful name for that one Arlene. Is that the name your going to keep for this one?

Kell, i keep chopping on the tree, it's so fat it blocks my view too much. maybe i'll get it so ugly DD will take it down. Brugman, will have to see about name it looks more yellow now in the heat of the day but not a normal yellow.
What view is that Arlene? ......if you tell me you can see water from your house I really will be green with envy and may stop stalking Liz and start after you!
