Be Still My Heart!!! All I can think is it felt us all talking about its leaves and decided to really give us something to talk about!
I was walking by this tree tonight and all of a sudden I looked at it and shock.....at least a week before I expected it, it had suddenly started to open!!! I counted 76 buds on it!! YES 76!!! All together now.....OH MY GOD!!
even my DH who is not impressed by much could not believe it!!! And this is not a big tree!!! Its canopy may be 3 feet wide!!! It has buds in the front, on the sides, inhte back and inthe middle. Buds buds everywhere!!! Now if only I could remember what I did to it..........
and yes, it is sitting in front of my garage door.......hey....... some of us must make evey square inch work!!

My golden hybrid has finally started to bud. Not so many as yours I can assure. When I got it it had both flowers and buds, but only 10 all in all. It bloomed and then it went dormant, but the rainy period we got into has waken it again and it has started to form many buds and put out large leaves.

OMG! You didn't notice? That's like not realizing you're pregnant until the ninth month!

I knew it had tons of buds but last I really looked at it they were much smaller, I had no idea it was about to start its show and I really did not know how many buds tons actually was! When they are big they are so much more impressive. I have been focusing on a brug in the back yard daily for a month. I was amazed! Last night we could smell bruggie perfume wafting into our living room! My DH actually LOOKED at one of my plants and liked it!

Oh Kell, I'm so proud of you!!! It's gorgeous, but can't believe you didn't notice it before!! (I did that this spring though, the brug was blooming before I even knew it had buds!! I was too busy looking at the others)
