Someone sent me this in a trade. Nice color and good form. The back of the flower has nice color.

Beautiful! How do you get the black background? Do you use the macro setting? Inquiring minds just have to know. LOL
It really shows up the flower very well.

Barb..you really do the greatest pics with this background method.Maybe we should draft you to do a brug poster...on a black background with multiple profile pics..so we could sell them to collectors and hobbyists to use to ID many of the known kinds of brugs. I absolutely love the composition on this pic!!WOW!

Great picture. I think you should think about Kyle's suggestion. Your pictures are very good.

Thanks for the kind words. If you haven’t done so, you can see some of the brugs I grow at http://community.webshots.com/album/41859217qXvwvm
The vast difference between the inside coloration and the exterior coloration of brugs fascinates me. Plus the change from the buds colors to the mature flower. Not being familiar with botany, I do not know how common an occurrence this is. Wish there was a slow motion film showing the development of the color.

Very pretty brug, and I love the black background and pics from different angles. Would simply love a book containing pics. like those along with maybe a pic of a leaf, and description and name of each brug. Is it very fragrant?
