seeds I have and seeds/plants I am looking for

Macclesfield, CHESHIRE(Zone 8a)

Check out my Home page for a really varied collection of seeds that I have available. Old fashioned annuals to exotic tropicals. I am happy to let them go on a trade basis, just for postage or even free to charitable causes. Mail me if interested.

Hi El Tel,
I was looking over your list and I would love to see your garden. I am interested in your eccrenocarpas scaber, roscea, agapanthus and a couple others. I do not have much of anything to trade right now, but will shortly. I am rooting some rose cuttings. Please email me and perhaps we could work out something for postage. Judging by your list your garden must be magnificent and you should think about posting a picture for all to enjoy.

Hi Sue,

Of course you can trade seeds within the UK; in fact while the Foot & Mouth scare was at its height, some sites in the US were suggesting that's the only place we should trade !!

It works by the members telling the rest of this site what they have to trade (plants, seeds, recipes, information, advice, or just good old fashioned gossip). If you find someone has something you want (e.g. seeds), you can offer to swap them for some seeds that you have. If that member doesnt want any of your seeds but you would still like to acquire whatever they have on their list, you could offer to send SASE to cover postage or, if you get to trade with the rest of the World, offer to send cash to cover their costs. I have had a great year trading seeds (outgoing in particular) and just asked the recipients to send me cash for the postage. I now have a collection of $ bills which I can use for the reverse process.

Welcome to the Club. You will find it a very friendly and tolerant site for those with a common interest in gardening so dip your toe in - you'll soon be swimming around with the rest of us.
