Here's what we found in this fresh picked pod - 175 big seeds! She called it "Good White". She seemed excited because none of it had turned yellow yet, and the seeds seemed fully developed. I was excited, because I had never even seen a pod up close, much less fresh seeds!
Here's Arlen's "just picked pod"
Oh boy! Someone's going to be busy. Glad you had a great time and both made it home safely.
It looks like a fancy green pepper.
kell, it smelled like a pepper, honest! the brug isn't called good white, but we didn't know what else to write on the seed pack:)
I was excited, wanted to pick a pod while the girls where here, and it was 2 out of 2, ripe seeds. the stems weren't yellowing but i could tell they were getting soft. it is a pretty white, labeled wrong but i believe it is one of Eric's hybrids so i believe it has good jeans. it is strange how some pods smell just like bell peppers when you open them, good enough to eat though i haven't yet.
Isn't it exciting to pick those pods and find ripe seeds inside? They are related to peppers, so maybe that's why they smell a bit like them.
Arlene, don't eat those pods!! We'd like to keep you around for a long time, lol.
Arlene, is this the pod that you are so nicely sharing seeds with me?
Kell, that went home with tig and azalea. i didn't count the seeds from your pod, think there are well over a hundred though.
