LOL cala..I have all the plants he has with the exception of 2..and he gave me some seedlings. I will be bringing him some of my gingers this week. His gardens were just unreal. He is an artist and it really shows. I'll show more since you asked..;-)

Lisa, just remembered that the Kempferia(spelling?) is blooming!! It was dormant for the longest time, came up about a month ago and is blooming these pretty orange and red blooms. I didn't have my camera at the green house today.

yes tiG, the yard is almost all shade. He has a huge live oak that takes up most of the back yard. He studied all about shade gardening and just took off with it.

Amiee, tropics are nice :-P But it has its own set of gardening problems, like all those pretty perennials most folks can grow..well, we are very limited.
