I gotta YYYYYYYYY!!!!Can't beleive it! This is one that Shirley sent me.Its grown so well and its been taking our 90 degree temps without wilting!!!Can't wait,I see tiny buds.......

CC, yours looks better than mine. I got those seeds from Banana Tree Farms. I nearly killed mine with Cygon. Thank God, I have some from Liz. My first one is still alive and is regrowing leaves, but it looks pretty thin right now. Yours looks great. Especially after what it when through during shipping. :-)

Very cool! July is their down time so don't let it get too warm if it gets sun. In fact keep it out of the sun. If you have any small shoots coming from the base - they are the only ones I've gotten to root. Upper shoots have never worked for me. I'm thrilled that it worked for you!! Now I have someone else to trade seeds with.

CC, how exciting. Keep it in full shade and mist it a few times a day when it's hot. Looks like you're managing the impossible.

I can't beleive how well its doing,our temp have been in the 90's for weeks ,no rain ,and its still looking great.I water it every other day. The one I had last year died,it would look great for a few weeks when it was cool but as soon as it got warm it would go limp,lose its leaves,then pick back up when it got cool,till it finally croaked.I love the leaves on this one much better than my last one.It gets sun in morning and late afternoon,shade at midday

I have a Y one mine as well. They seem to survive these 90 degree temps, but only morning sun and afternoon shade. I also found I have to water my brugs now every day or they just wilt quickly. At night its still very hot so I also mist them.

Wait until you get a BLOOM. Lets see who's bloom first, mine or yours...LOL.

I don't care whos blooms first,as long as it blooms!!!!!

I know the feeling CC. This will be my FIRST brug bloom ever!! Watching it everyday doesn't make it bloom faster as I've noticed...LOL.
