I wasn't sure my stuttgartt would make it over the winter...the tubers were so small,but they did and I love them!I bought the Australia on e-bay,it kinda reminds me of tropicanna with no stripes,but really shiney....

CC...I'm kinda tired of Stuttgart..it scorches every year even in shade..when it gets real hot it burns.
Thats why its in the corner ,not any real sun and its been taking our heat real well....I am surpized!
While several of my friends' Stuttgarts reverted to all green, one of mine turned near complete white this year.
'Interesting' and neat to see, but my guess is it will die if it does not start more variegation.

Eclipse, wonder if you could do it like the hostas that get leaf burn? In the spring when they first come up, give them a heavy dose of fertilizer, it keeps the leaves from burning!!

Your lucky because I paid $30.00 for a stuttgart and it didn't even make it through the winter. I was so upset.
