well, I'm so excited my stomach is hurting! honest. we're leaving here about 9 in the morning, and should be there just in time for the worst of the heat. :) I've got my bag packed (okay, so I don't, I'm a procrastinator) but I am gathering things up, and I have my tray of things I was going to mail to her this weekend (that's the reason I'm going, have to save that postage!)
Good thing Azalea's truck has a/c, it's hotter than the devil here, and it would be unbearable if it wasn't.

Cala, you'll pay for that one:) okay, so sorry arlene, but I can't come. Species/double white whatever was due to bloom tonight. I mean the whiskers are hanging out and everything. But it's not going to make it. It's my first double!! I know you will understand that I have to stay here and watch it open Friday nite. I mean you are as serious a brug lover as I am, and you would do the same thing, wouldn't you???

She didn't tell me she started this thread, but I should have known, the queen of gab!! Yep we will look like Fred Sanford goin & comin!! We don't have a topper on this old truck, but DH has rigged up an old metal table we can stand up in the back & put a tarp over it!!
Poor Arlene, she doesn't know what she's in for, we'll take anything that's loose or not so loose for that matter, Lol! And would you believe all she wants in return is some replacement pots & BEE BALM!! I wish I had known this 2 weeks ago, I trashed most of it then.
We may have to take the scenic route over to Jax so Tig an experience driving over the high bridge there! Well, got to go & trim my hair, don't want to scare Arlene when this old wagon rolls up!
Azalea, you should have taken some of those pots from the nursery!! yes, that bridge at Jacksonville should do just fine.

Cala, sure wish I had known about this, but then, where would I have put those pots on that trip!! Barbara only had a few inches to sit in as it was!! Wish you were going too, but then, you already have your share of beautiful brugs so couldn't possibly be as excited as we are! Haven't talked with her since Sun pm when I told her we were going, I know she feels left out, but that little Toyota will just hold so many!!
