Baa's now on a nostalgia trip so I hope you good people will bear with me :)
This is the first herd I worked with and was spoiled thoroughly at. The level of welfare was typical of small family farms, almost had the cows sleeping in the house! Right up front on the left is my best cow buddy Anita, she was so gentle and friendly, standing back a bit in the middle is Caroline (daughter of Cactus who was an aptly named Canadian Guernsey) and on the right at the front is Dolly. Dolly was the same age as me, 16 when I began working there, she was an excellent milker (hence skinnyness) and continued to milk well right up to her death at 22.
