Island Girl

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Island Girl finally bloomed.I got this as a cutting from Barbara. It has a very light rose blush inside the corolla.
Bad thing is,for me at least,it's very hard to root.
That's Isabella sticking her nose in,in the upper right corner.

The color and shape of the flower is different. I like it. Very pretty.

Nice shape. Very pretty. G2S, try dipping the cuttings in the shultz root starter and using vermiculite.

Hey Cala, Good to see you back. Hope you had a good time camping.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

We had a great time, but it's good to be home. I went first thing and checked on the brugs in the Jungle House. They were a bit thirsty, but fine.

Very pretty. G2S, the few i am rooting now seem to start growing right away....some of the same kinds that laid on their sides for a week or two, wilted, before rooting in the spring.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

I like!! Does the pink get darker with age? I think this is one of Kyle's--Kyle am I right?

Barbara, the pink did not get darker. These are the first blooms and I would keep them just for the scent.Smells like vanilla extract to me.

Definitely a keeper. Very nice. Love that tinge of pink.
