fresh lupine seed for trade

Brooksville, ME(Zone 5a)

I have fresh lupine seed to trade. They are so easy to grow that the ones I planted in my sand and gravel driveway are looking healthy and happy

I'd love a trade. Look at my trade list.

I'd like some to if you have enough to spare. I don't have any seed right now except Siberian Iris. It is a bit early here to harvest many seeds right now, but will have some later. Check out my journal and see if there is something in particular that catches your fancy.

You both have mail!

Will get postage out to you tomorrow fairyhunter. Steve was gonna send today (but to the wrong person LOL). Sometimes hard to figure out who is who in the e-mails, but will check again when I get home and make sure I have your addy.
Thanks,

haighr it is really easy to mix seeds up in this way. I got the sase today and filled up the envelope for tomorrow's mail. Your going to love these wonderful colors. I have included some of my special blue with lavendar. I had one plant I marked this spring when it bloomed. I was amazed how blue the flower was. I just love blue in flowers. The others are pretty shades of violet, purple, lavendar and pinks.

Thanks so much, I look forward to getting them. Should wait till spring to plant them now I guess. I've never had them before and Steve really likes the colors. I'll be watching that postman!

Oh no I wouldn't wait until spring. They are a hardy perennial and will not bloom until the second year they are planted. Just loosten the soil where you want them to go and "just cover". Im putting mine in cell packs along with campanula. I'm doing this to ensure that they germinate asap and get the best start they can get.....also I plan on plating them along with other lupines I have along my drive way which is realy long. Should be something blooming all the time there next spring and summer.
