Hi Poppysue, does this yarrow fade like most other yarrows? I have one called 'fireland' that is similar, maybe a bit more orange. I have had others and they do like to seed other places, which can be a bit of a drawback. Joann

This one fades from a dark orange to an almost russet gold color. I like it. It has sivery foliage. The first year the plant almost died over the winter but I salvaged the few living pieces left. It's still not at big as it was the first year. I wouldn't mind trading for a piece of your Fireland if you ever have any to spare. Maybe this fall?

Sure, the first two years I had Fireland, it was not very strong but I moved it to a new site this spring, and wow much better, just remind me as I am so forgetful it seems, tee hee Joann
